My old treadmill seems to run slower than it should. Any maintenance tips I could do to speed it back up?
The treadmill is a Voit VS-3000, and the digital screen shows its max speed of 10.6. But the treadmill only gets up to 4.8. Is there anything I can do at home (not taking it to or having someone come here) to speed it back up? If there are any other questions about the treadmill I will respond with the answer if I know it. Thank you.
The speed sensor is probably too far away from the magnet it detects. when you adjust it, make sure the gap is barely big enough to fit a credit card through.
if that doesb’t fix it, try adjusting the max speed potentiometer on the otor control board, it requires a phillip srew driver.
